On 4 March 2024, LASIGE, under the ERASMUS+ project, was visited by a delegation from Uganda and other partners as part of the project “Strengthening Capacity for ICT Usage and Policy Reforms for Relevant and Quality Masters Research Process Management in Uganda’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)” (ICT-4MRPQ).

This project aims to strengthen the capacity of Uganda’s higher education institutions to utilise ICT in the quality management processes of the master’s research pathway and to design policy reforms to achieve relevant, high-quality research results, has a strong association with the Colégio Tropical, partners as ULisboa and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and the LASIGE team is coordinated by Tiago Guerreiro, integrated member and vice-director, who also coordinates the participation of Ciências Ulisboa.

The delegation of more than 30 people, led by David Katamba (Makerere University Business School), showed a lot of interest in the poster session at LASIGE and also visited the Ciências ULisboa campus, namely, among others Tec Labs – Innovation Centre.
