Nuno Neves and Sara Silva, LASIGE integrated researchers, featured in the ranking of Computer Science top national researchers according to the portal Research.com.

Research.com is a platform that provides information to scientists about the quality of scientific forums such as conferences and journals, as well as institutions. It also provides a list of the best scientists, ranked by their D-index which takes into account only publications and citation data for an examined discipline, compiled from various bibliometric data sources. The metrics for h-index, citations, awards, and publications presented in this ranking were last updated on December 21, 2022. The ranking process involved an evaluation of 166,880 scientists on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph.

The 9th edition of the Research.com ranking of the best scholars in the field of Computer Science has been released. Nuno Neves is ranked 21st among the top 28 Portuguese scientists in the computer science field. With 28 scientists Portugal ranks in spot 26 globally.

In addition, the 9th edition of Research.com ranking of the best universities in the discipline of Computer Science has also been released, featuring the University of Lisbon in the 189th position out of 1031 institutions globally. The University of Lisbon is also the top-ranked Portuguese institution, holding the first position at a national level. Nuno Neves appears on the list of the best researchers from the Computer Science field affiliated with the University of Lisbon, ranked in the 10th position out of the 12 best.

Finally, the University of Lisbon is ranked 2nd nationally and 289th worldwide in the 2nd edition of the leading universities ranking. LASIGE is pleased to have contributed to this accomplishment, with Nuno Neves and Sara Silva being ranked 112th and 130th out of the top 133 scholars from various fields at the University of Lisbon.
