Rita Sousa, Sara Silva and Cátia Pesquita have published a paper about evolving semantic similarity representations to support supervised learning in the biomedical domain in BMC Bioinformatics. This is a top-ranked journal in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (Top 10% SJR and h5-index=61). This work joins together LASIGE’s Research Lines of Excellence in Health and Biomedical Informatics and Data and Systems Intelligence.

The paper, titled “Evolved knowledge graph similarity for supervised learning in complex biomedical domains”, can be found here.
