The H2020 OpenMinTED initiative awarded an open tender to a team that included LASIGE members André Lamúrias, Diana Sousa and Francisco Couto, for building a Deep Learning model that classifies relations between entities using contextual information and biomedical ontologies. The developed software component is shared via Docker image in the OpenMinTED platform, while its code is available on the GitHub. The work was also published in the international high impact BMC Bioinformatics journal (DOI: doi:10.1186/s12859-018-2584-5).
