LASIGE gets H2020 funding in Human-AI Interaction for Pervasive Healthcare

horizon 2020
Date: 08/05/2020

LASIGE researchers participate in a consortium of a new H2020 twinning project on AI and Pervasive Health (WeHealth, starting in January 2021). LASIGE's team is led by André Rodrigues and Tiago Guerreiro and has the participation of other researchers from the Accessibility & Ageing, Health & Biomedical Informatics, and Data and Systems Intelligence.

WeHealth project's goal is to enable a new generation of researchers in the widening countries to develop and adapt novel eHealth technologies. We, at LASIGE, will provide training in human-computer interaction applied to accessible computing and data-driven Pervasive Healthcare. Together with our partners, we will explore how to democratize healthcare (data, analysis, and decisions) with the end goal of promoting patient empowerment.

The consortium is completed with teams from Hasso-Plattner Institute (Germany), Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Italy), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia), and Jožef Stefan Institute (Slovenia).
