Alysson Bessani, LASIGE integrated researcher, has published a paper about the use of blockchains for preventing frauds in fuel dispensers in the Journal of Network and Computer Architecture, a high-impact journal.

The paper “Field surveillance of fuel dispensers using IoT-based metering and blockchains” is a joint work with four other researchers from the Brazilian Institute of metrology (INMETRO) in which the authors propose, implement and validate a pragmatical solution for decreasing the field surveillance efforts by regulation authorities to prevent frauds.
