LASIGE integrated researcher Alysson Bessani participated in two recent industry collaboration efforts.

He was an Invited Speaker in Huawei 2018 Cloud Resiliency Workshop held in Xi’an, China, with the talk “Practical State Machine Replication with applications on Blockchains and Datastores” given on 17th October 2018.

On November 6th, he gave an invited talk entitled “Permissioned Blockchains: Consensus is only the beginning” at NEC Laboratories Europe, in Heildelberg, Germany.

Both presentations open up interesting perspectives for collaborations between LaSIGE and these companies.
