3rd WideHealth Newsletter is available

Date: 06/02/2023

The EU-funded WideHealth project conducts research on pervasive eHealth and is set to establish a sustainable network of research and dissemination across Europe. The overarching goal of the project is to enable a new generation of researchers in the less developed (Widening) countries in the consortium to develop and adapt novel eHealth technologies exploitable in the long run in their different healthcare contexts. LASIGE experience in pervasive health allows the unit to have a hybrid role in this project, both receiving (as a R&D unit of a Widening country) and providing expertise.

The project’s third newsletter is available on the project’s website. The newsletter shares details on the upcoming WideHealth Winter School on Trustworthy AI to be held in Potsdam, Germany, from March 14 to March 17, 2023. Registration is free of charge but mandatory.

The WideHealth team is also organising a Special Issue on Smart Sensing for Pervasive Health. The call for papers’ deadline is June 30, 2023.

In addition, the newsletter presents the WideHealth Training Repository resource, where you can find all the materials presented during the WideHealth Summer School on Human Factors in Pervasive Health (July 2022) in a free online course format. More courses will be made available soon.

Finally, the newsletter also includes information on past events, such as the Pervasive Health and Smart Sensing Conference at Information Society 2022, held in Ljubljana, Slovenia (October 2022), the links to the project’s research outputs (open-access) and information on upcoming calls for papers and EU HORIZON projects related to pervasive health.
