Tiago Guerreiro received the Ciências ULisboa Diploma of Scientific Merit at the 4th edition of Ciências Research Day.

The Ciencias Research Day is an annual event in which Ciências ULisboa showcases the best science made in the centenary institution. This year’s edition took place on October 26. The event includes the Ciências 2021 Research Awards ceremony where the recipients of the Best Researcher Award and the Diplomas of Scientific Merit are announced.

The Scientific Merit recognition is based on scientific production, as determined by the number of articles published, and above all, by the quality of knowledge produced, following the evaluation guidelines from Ciencias ULisboa teacher’s performance assessment. One diploma is awarded per research area. Tiago Guerreiro was distinguished by his contribution to the Computer Science and Engineering field.
