Short summary: Nuno PhD focuses on improving several aspects of prostate cancer radiomics, such as detection, segmentation, survival prediction and treatment classification, by producing integrated and interpretable deep learning models. It is on par with the Horizons2020 European Union program.

Short Bio: Nuno has done both his bachelors and masters in Eng. Informática at FCUL. He has been working for over 3 years now with evolutionary computation under Sara Silva, focused mainly on genetic programming and neuroevolution. He is now starting his PhD in cooperation with the Champalimaud foundation working on radiomics for prostate cancer.
