The project proposal with the title “Resilient Supervision and Control in Smart Grids”, was one of the 30 projects approved for funding in the call for transnational cooperation in research under the agreement FCT (Portugal) / CAPES (Brazil).

The Portuguese team, led by Nuno Neves, will participate in several visit travels to the Brazilian participating institution, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, and will welcome 2 long stay visits, of one year each, of PhD studens that will develop part of their theses locally at LaSIGE.

The transnational cooperation agreement, signed by FCT, supports the Portuguese participation in joint projects with institutions from other countries in the framework of scientific or cultural agreements, including scientific and technological cooperation with the CPLP countries. In particular the FCT/CAPES agreement seeks the exchange of researchers through joint research projects integrating Advanced Training, both in Portugal and Brazil.
