The Floodlight Project – Open Source Software for Building Software-Defined Networks, have recently integrated into their branch master Floodlight, an Open SDN Controller, a module developed by LaSIGE’s researcher Túlio Ribeiro.

The FT module even has a dedicated Tutorial, with the title “How to Add Fault Tolerance to the Control Plane”, available in the controller webpage.

Other reserchers from LaSIGE, like Ricardo Fonseca and André Mantas, are also participating in the Floodlight Project, enforcing LaSIGE’s contribution to the SDN community.
