LASIGE received the members of its Advisory Board this week. Andrea Bondavalli, Mike Hinchey and Pedro Bizarro were welcomed by LASIGE’s junior and senior members from November 8 to 9. Nuria Oliver joined remotely.

The Advisory Board members gathered with the LASIGE Executive Committee and the Research Line leaders. The meeting served as an opportunity to give (and show!) the board feedback on improvements based on their past recommendations.

The Advisory Board also met LASIGE’s future experts (the Early Career Researchers and PhD students) to assess their outlook on the unit’s progression and their prospects. The event included a poster session to present the research being done by MSc and PhD students.

All of LASIGE members keenly took part in hosting this visit. The involvement was a good display of LASIGE’s community engagement and determination to keep improving.
