This Thursday, on the 26th of April, several LASIGE members are taking part on the organization of Girls in ICT, an event to promote ICT-releated careers to young women. This year’s edition has an extra goal: to show woman that have a degree in other areas that they can too learn computer Science and take advantage of the high employment rates in this field.

LASIGE researchers Cátia Pesquita and Ana Paula Afonso have recently been interviewed by journalist Ana Paula Gomes about these topics (in Portuguese), which you can listen to.
