Ricardo Carvalho, LASIGE’s MSc student, entered the H-INNOVA – HEALTH INNOVATION AWARD competition under the supervision of Daniela Oliveira and Catia Pesquita, LASIGE’s researchers, and achieved the TOP 5 among more than 170 competitors worldwide. Ricardo presented the project at the Award Ceremony held on October 1st, 2021.

H-INNOVA acknowledges and awards the best projects developed by students and professors at national and international level that contribute with innovative ideas to specific areas related with Health, with a focus on projects with potential to create i) new business models, ii) new products and iii) new services focusing on aspects such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, IoT, machine learning, Big Data, Preventive Healthcare and others.
