Date: 15/11/2022

LASIGE researchers are once again featured in the top 2% list of the world’s most-cited scientists compiled at Stanford University (USA) and published in Elsevier BV. The database aggregates the top 2 percent scientists of the world from different fields on the basis of standardized citation indications. Separate data are shown for career-long and, separately, for single recent year impact.

Vasco T. Vasconcelos, for the second year in a row, and Alysson Bessani, for the first time, were featured on the list of the top 2% most cited authors throughout their careers. Vasconcelos’ research area is Reliable Software Systems and Bessani’s is Resilient Distributed and Networked Systems.
Alysson Bessani was also featured, for the third time, on the list of the top 2% most cited authors in 2021. He is joined by Cátia Pesquita, who was also featured in the 2020 top 2% authors list. Pesquita’s research areas are Health and Biomedical Informatics and Data and Systems Intelligence.
